Here we have three sides: The Mafia, which is self-explanitory. The First Bullet, an organization determined to take down the Mafia. And then there is everybody else, the Civlians, who are just caught in the middle.
Setting
It is April 2010, and the weather has been perfect so far. There are a few showers here and there, but this only serves to make Central Park more beautiful than ever. The temperatures range, but for the most part, things are staing in the mid-to-high seventies.

Occupation: Head of the Moretti crime family
History: Joseph Moretti was born in Brooklyn, and from the moment of his conception, he was destined for the mob. His father, before him, was a mob Boss, respected and powerful even before the Moretti crime family virtually took over New York City.
He displayed great leadership ability even at a young age, being the oldest of three siblings. He told his siblings what to do, and they listened, fearful of the future Don’s capabilities. He had charisma, something that, even in elementary school, got him a lot of attention. However, he was never the bully who took other kids’ money. He could have been if he wanted, but instead he took the other rout. He was the kid who offered protection against the playground bullies. By high school, he already had a great following of students from every walk of life. Even those who did not know of his Mafioso parentage knew it was best to follow Joseph, rather than risk their dignity trying to out do him.
Joe graduated high school with honors at the top of his class, as only can be expected from the son of a powerful Don. Straight from there, he officially joined the crime family. His mother and father would not allow him to partake in Mafia activities until he had already graduated, figuring it best he get a good education before putting his good record on the line.
But Joseph Sr. knew how to best introduce the crime family life to his son. He did not allow his child to pass straight through the ranks and join the elite of the family. Yes, he did receive training from the best, but at eighteen years old, straight from high school, he joined the ranks of the other soldiers. He did the dirty work he was assigned just like the others, and displayed the astounding ability to keep his face off all of his crimes. Nobody was the wiser, or at least, nobody brought any attention to what he was doing that wasn’t supposed to.
By twenty-five, he made it to the elite position of Consigliere, there to advise his elders in whatever they were doing. Through this position, he gained loyalty, and the never-ending pride of his father. By thirty, he left the position of Consigliere, and became the family’s Underboss. He was respected within the Mafia community, as well as feared, a position he greatly enjoyed. It was during this time that he met his future wife, Donatella Gamarra, the nineteen-year-old daughter of a friend of Joseph Sr.
The two dated for two years, and on his thirty-second birthday, he proposed to the then twenty-one year old woman. On the same day, Joseph Sr. was gunned down in a shootout with a street gang determined to destroy the Mafia and take control. On that bittersweet day, a select group of high-ranking Mafia members voted on the next Boss of the family. They kept to a long, unwritten tradition, and voted in their old Boss’ son.
His mother, Isabella, died soon after from unknown causes. But the new Boss could not display too much grief, and kept most of it to himself, sharing his deepest emotions with his beloved bride-to-be. Two months later, the couple married at a private ceremony, where the only guests were a select few family members, friends, and Mafia members.
For twenty-three years, he has run the crime family with an iron fist. Because of his great leadership skills, he gained in-direct control of many crime families in New York City. Their own Bosses run them, but all of them know who the real Boss is.
Over time, he gained control of the local politics, ruling over the city through the puppet of an elected official. The crime organization’s activities were able to stay under the radar, especially after 9/11, when the US government’s attention was torn away from Mafia activities to fighting terrorism. Since then, the Moretti and the various other crime families in New York have been able to work without government attention. And, because of Joseph’s hold over the local politics, none of the family’s activities ever make it into the media, or to the federal government.
In 1985 he opened up a restaurant in Manhattan called "Isabella's Dance" in honor of his mother.
Personality: Joe has seen a lot in his time, from assassinations to the removal of people’s limbs as punishment. All of these contribute to a sort of stone cold outlook on life, where he knows things could go wrong at any moment. He is very strict in his work, and does not tolerate failure or betrayal. If somebody fails him in any way, they will be punished. If he feels betrayed—that person had better run for their life, because he’s not going to let them get away with it. He does his work calmly, as well, able to keep his cool in every situation. In all of his years, he’s raised his voice at his family, his workers, and anybody else maybe a dozen times.
But, aside from the way he runs his “business”, his family sees a different side of him. His wife knows only a loving husband who is willing to do everything within his power to make sure she lives happily. His children see a firm but adoring father, who is strict and demands they do what they are told, but will reward them for their good deeds.
Joe has a decent sense of humor, enjoying comedy of many forms. He likes for the people around him to share in his sense of humor, and is always looking for something to make him laugh, even if the situation is dire and dangerous. He knows that although life is difficult, there is always something to brighten his day and bring laughter from within him.
Donatella Moretti

History: The life of Donatella Gamarra is not nearly as rough and detailed as her husband’s, but she has seen her share of events. Born to a friend of Joseph Moretti Sr., she knew what the Mafia was before the other children she was around had any idea. Though her father, Anthony, was not officially in the Mafia, he was associated, and therefor had a lot to do with the goings on within the Moretti Crime Family.
She went to private school as a child, attending the best elementary, middle, and high schools her rich father could afford. She was the popular, beautiful girl in high school, admired by many, but because of her father and his relations, she did not receive many dates. This irked her to no end, but considering she wasn’t allowed to date until she was eighteen, she lived with it and concentrated on school and friends. She had a small, tight-knit posse of friends, all of whom were the daughters of Moretti associates or members.
At nineteen, she met Joe Moretti Jr., a rich and powerful Underboss several years her senior. Because of his status, her father willingly allowed her to date him, but it wasn’t as if he had any say in the matter. Nobody except Joe’s father said no to him, because they knew what might happen to them if they did. But, even if her father had said no, she would have been smitten anyway. He was handsome and powerful, the kind of man any girls of her status would have loved to have.
After two years of dating, she received the much-wanted proposal from her boyfriend. She said yes, and not even the death of her soon-to-be father in law was able to destroy her euphoria. They were married not long after.
Not even a year into their marriage, she bore the family a new child. This time, a daughter, whom she lovingly named Gabrielle.
With the birth of a new child, Donatella was successfully sheltered from the criminal activities of her husband. And that’s just how she would have liked it. She was never one for those Mafia activities, and quite enjoyed living the fine life with her new baby.
Two years later, a month after the brutal murder and disappearance of her mother, she gave birth to a son. It was a miracle, as she was sure she’d lose the baby because of all the stress she’d been through, grieving for the loss of her parents. But even so, when she saw the face of her new baby, she couldn’t help but momentarily forget about her newly lost family.
But still, to this day, she has not lost hope that her mother will be found, alive.
At the age of twenty-eight, she bore another son, long after she expected she would stop having children. But, like her other children, she was glad for the new arrival.
Personality: As can be expected of someone who has known nothing but riches her entire life, Donatella expects nothing less than what she is used to. On the rare occasion where her comfy life is compromised, she becomes angry and temperamental. But, when things return to normal, she composes herself to her normal, happy self. She is not normally an angry woman, and usually treats those around her with kindness.
She was raised to be polite, and has only on occasion uttered a rude word or two. Indeed, even to those who she dislikes, she manages to put on a kind, happy, polite front, just to prove that she is the bigger person.
She works at a fast pace, and expects everything to be done in a timely manner. The quicker something she asks for is accomplished, the happier she is. And nobody wants to make the wife of a mob Boss upset, so everything she asks for is done quickly and when she asks for it.
All her life, Donatella has been told she is beautiful. And, because of it, the Boss’ wife thinks very highly of herself. She works very hard to preserve her looks, even though she knows she is aging. But as long as she is continually reminded of her beauty, she is a happy camper.
Gabrielle Moretti

Occupation: Full-time student
History: The life of a mob daughter is neither boring nor sheltered. Her father never allowed her to actually become a member of the crime family, trying his hardest to keep her safe and protected. But despite his efforts, she has seen a lot in her time that most kids never see in a lifetime. She’s seen extortion rings, prostitution rings, everything that the Mafia is famous for, she’s seen it live. But this doesn’t phase her. In fact, it almost shocks her when she discovers people who have never seen such deals.
Gabrielle grew up with a love of music, especially all forms of electronica, techno, and industrial rock. Anything she can break out the glowsticks to, she’s there listening to it, and doesn’t really care who doesn’t like it.
She graduated from the same private school her mother attended with top marks, but she always wondered if those top marks were due to her own intelligence or the imposing figure that is her father. Whatever the case, she never vocally expressed her feelings about it, thinking it best to just let it go. With those top grades, she was granted a scholarship (not that she needs it) to the prestigious New York University, which she happily took.
She finished her bachelors degree in music, and is currently studying acting at NYU. But unlike in high school, she has made sure that whatever grades she receives are grades she deserves, not grades given to her by professors that are terrified of her father. She wants to make sure she graduates from this school with the ability to do jobs in that field, knowing what is going on because she’s studied so hard.
Personality: Gabrielle is a sarcastic but easy-going girl. She has a bit of a temper on her, a trait she has no idea where she inherited it. Both her parents are very laid-back and rarely get angry, but she has issues with staying calm most of the time. Little things especially make her angry, while she can easily handle bigger, more complicated situation that would make any twenty-something mad with fury.
But despite her temper issues, she’s very kind to her friends. She enjoys just sitting around with them, listening to music or picking out clothes, maybe looking at especially attractive guys while they’re doing it.
She’s pretty easy on people she’s just met, and rarely makes a quick judgement. But while this is true, she is very opinionated, and if somebody new says something to offend her, all their chances of making a good impression are dashed. It takes a lot to offend her, as well, so when these rare people do, it’s not a happy thing to behold. She can hold debates for hours, and often wins them.
She is “daddy’s little girl”, as everybody can expect. She is the only daughter of Joe Moretti, so what she asks for, she gets. Unlike her brothers, her life has been a lot easier, and will continue to be easy, until she marries off to somebody else. Her father would prefer it is somebody he knows, somebody working for him, but will he happy with whomever she chooses. She would rather be with somebody not associated with the crime industry, though.
Anthony “Prince” Moretti

Occupation: Caporegime
History: The history of Anthony Moretti is much like that of his father. He was born into the Moretti family, and from that moment was fated to become a mobster. He is the spitting image of his father, in every way, straight down to his most hidden personality traits.
Like his father, he showed leadership capabilities at a young age. Though he was unable to boss his older sister around much, his younger brother follows his every word, even to this day. He was the kid in school who did not take lunch money, but would rather stick up for those who got their money stolen. He is, in every way, his father.
He graduated from school with good grades, but like his sister, he is unsure whether those good grades were the result of hard work and intelligence, or the intimidating father that created him. Whatever the case, he did not take the scholarships granted to him. Instead, he went straight into the Mafia world, just as his father had, and started out as a soldier. He is now a Caporegime, or simply Capo, and runs his own crew of ten soldiers. He is slowly making his way up the ladder, just as his father did before him.
Personality: Though he is very similar to his father, he has not been in the business long enough to discover what a cold reality life really is. He has seen a lot in his short time, but not enough to give him the bleak outlook that his father has. He is slowly getting there, though.
Life is still an adventure for Tony. He enjoys the crime business, including all the ups and downs he must face. He is greatly looking forward to the day that he will be appointed Boss of the Moretti Crime Family, no matter how far away that day might actually be.
He is very protective of his family, especially his older sister. He will meet with any of her boyfriends and give them a speech about how, if they hurt her, they will be in danger, and that he can “protect” them against this “unseen force”, as long as his sister remains happy. Needless to say, this scares off plenty of potential for the Mafia sister.
He enjoys humor as much as his father, and requires all of the soldiers in his crew to have some sort of sense of humor. Whether or not they actually have said sense of humor doesn’t matter, as long as they can pretend they do.
Marco Moretti
PB: Chace Crawford
Age: 17
DOB: February 13
Height: 6’1’’
Family: Joseph Moretti [father] Donatella Moretti [mother] Gabrielle Moretti [sister] Anthony Moretti [brother]
Occupation: Full-time student
History: The book that is Marco’s life has only begun. He is the last boy in the Moretti family, and the last child that will be conceived by Donatella and Joe. He knows it, too, and does his best to make sure he doesn’t disappoint anybody with high expectations.
Unfortunately, he is not his father or his brother. While he does get good grades in school, this is not uncommon of the Moretti children, and is not exactly something that can be used to define his abilities. He does not have the charisma and good leadership skills of his elder brother and father, and is usually the one getting pushed around. He tries, oh yes, he tries, but unfortunately he has been unable to gather such loyalty and respect as his siblings.
But then again, he is only seventeen years old. He has not yet learned to lead people, or what Mafia life is like outside of his cozy home. He sees what his brother and father do, and he has become a close observer. But he does have one thing that far exceeds his brother and father. He is a quick strategist, and can come up with the best, most precise strategies at anything. He might not be the one in front of everybody, rallying the troops, but he is the one who can advise and manipulate. He knows exactly how to properly work people, even if he isn’t the one in charge.
Personality: Despite his lack of charisma, Marco has definitely developed a way with the ladies. He is charming and sweet, at least in appearances. He cannot gather loyal followers the way his brother can, but can definitely make the women swoon in a way his brother and father both could not.
He is quick with wit, and can come up with a comeback in any situation. He is good at manipulating people behind the scenes so that they don’t even know they’re being manipulated. He is, no doubt, the smarter of the two boys, and while he will surely not become a Boss in his family, he will be the one advising and making sure things go his way.
He relies on wit and strategy to get things done. Whether it is wooing a pretty girl he has his eye on, or figuring out a way to escape detention, he will find a way to get it done.
He is cool and calm, the kind of person who waits out the storm before continuing on their journey. He lets other people fight the big battles for him, as long as he can be the one sitting behind, comfortable, making sure that his will is being carried out.

History: Born and raised in Germany he went to the college of Freie Universitat in Berlin graduating in 1969. The Reinke Family to the USA In 1969. “In the late sixties, the Moretti family offered the Reinke family “help”. Or, rather, they forced the family to pay them money in order to keep them “safe” from people who would want to hurt them. Over time, Dirk wanted nothing more to do with them, and told the family he no longer needed their “protection”. The family wasn’t pleased, and sent a hitman to kill Dirk Reinke. Harriet was left alone with her son, and together they closed down the business. It was a tragic time in both of their lives (The First Bullet, 2008).”
After this had happened Gerard approached his family as the head helping his mother and built up a different world through political and economic acquisitions. Gerard asset of the US government during the Cold War, he was a man who knew many names and could assist whoever he sided with saw the economic gain of aiding the US and building his life within the states. Gerard also assisted as an ambassador to the Middle East in 1973 during the oil crisis due to strong assists in the Middle East. Goals: -destroy the mafia, rebuild the world from what the mafia had taken, take revenge for his family who was used and abused in America and in Germany during and after the war.
